Use Pantaray with your ChatGPT account
Sign in with ChatGPT and let Pantaray run on the plan you already pay for.
If you already pay for ChatGPT, Pantaray can run on that plan. You sign in through your browser, and no key is involved.
Sign in
- Open Settings → AI connection.
- Under Connect with, choose ChatGPT account.
- Press Sign in with ChatGPT. Your browser opens so you can authorize Pantaray.
- Approve it there, then return to Pantaray.
While it waits you will see Waiting for authorization in your browser…, and Cancel sign-in if you change your mind.
Once you are signed in, Account shows Connected. Pantaray renews the session on its own, and asks you to sign in again only when renewal fails.
Choose a model
Pick one of the suggestions in Model and press Save model. When you choose ChatGPT,
gpt-6-luna is filled in to begin with.
The models ChatGPT offers are a different list from the OpenAI API. You can also type an id that is not suggested and save it.
What this uses
Requests go to ChatGPT and count against your ChatGPT plan, exactly as if you were using it yourself. If you run into ChatGPT’s usage limits, Pantaray reports that and waits.
Disconnect
Disconnect signs Pantaray out of ChatGPT and deletes the sign-in from this Mac. Your history, your memory, and any API key you saved all stay as they are.
If sign-in stops working
If Pantaray cannot renew the session, it says so and asks you to Sign in again. Until you do, Actions will not run, and a saved API key is not used instead.
